Rosie MacLennan-Crump
Strength & Menopause Coach
Helping YOU to laugh, lift weight & feel f*cking YES in perimenopause and beyond
Hello lovely human, you’re in the right place.
I'm Rosie, a strength coach and menopause specialist based in Nottingham, and I work with women in their 40s and 50s who are ready to feel strong. Not just physically but all of it.
Whether you're in perimenopause, post-menopause or somewhere in the middle wondering what's going on with your body, I can help. We lift weights, we ditch the diet culture nonsense, and we actually have a good time doing it.
The main way to work with me is in Stronger, Fitter You, my small group Personal Training Strength programme.
What I Offer:
Stronger, Fitter You: Small group strength training, max four women, Tuesday or Wednesday evenings at my new studio next to The Luna Shala in Ilkeston. This is the main thing.Find out more
One to One: In Ilkeston or on the University of Nottingham campus Find out more
I’m ready to help you to feel your best, no matter where you are in your menopause journey. If you’re ready to get energy and start living life on your terms, you’ve come to the right place.
Let’s work together to make midlife a time of strength, growth, and freedom from expectations. Get Started Today.
Meet Rosie
Personal Trainer and Menopause Coach
“Rosie has helped me so much. I have never felt so listened to and understood. She has adapted exercises for me and made sure that I am always comfortable. I feel stronger and more confident than I ever have.””
About Me
I'm Rosie. I went through early menopause at 43 and it absolutely knocked me sideways despite doing all the stuff I was supposed to. I'm now a qualified personal trainer, certified strength coach and menopause specialist, and I've spent the last few years figuring out what actually helps (spoiler: it's lifting weights and ignoring most of what we've been told about how we should treat our bodies).
I'm based in Ilkeston, I work part-time in adult education, I have a dogs called Ethel and Bramley, and I take my training very seriously while taking myself considerably less so.
My Approach
My evidence-based coaching combines:
Midlife strength training that rebuilds muscle and bone density
Nutrition strategies that support your hormones and long term health
Science-backed fitness techniques designed especially for midlife bodies
Practical lifestyle tools that fit your real life
What Makes Me Different
While many coaches focus solely on exercise, my holistic approach addresses the complete you, body, mind, and spirit. This isn't about quick fixes or hacks; i work with you on sustainable transformation that supports you in this powerful stage of your life.
Who I Help
I specialise in supporting women over 40 who are:
Experiencing persistent fatigue that coffee isn’t helping
Managing anxiety that seems to have appeared from nowhere
Wanting strength in a body that sometimes feels unfamiliar
Ready to reclaim or gain confidence and energy

I'm not just here to help you survive in menopause. I'm here to help you thrive through this time and beyond. Together, we'll develop personalised strategies that make you feel strong, energised, and empowered.
Ready to transform this challenge into an opportunity for growth? Let's begin this journey together.
Still Feeling Drained Despite Your Best Efforts?
It’s not surprising you’ve been bombarded throughout your life with conflicting messages, be a ladette, don’t eat this, do eat this.
You’ve tried the diets, the workouts, cutting back on caffeine or alcohol, but the fatigue just won’t budge. That’s because perimenopause and menopause aren’t challenges that can be fixed with a standard approach. Without addressing the hormonal shifts, energy-draining habits, and lifestyle factors specific to this phase of life, it’s easy to stay stuck in the cycle of exhaustion. The good news? You don’t have to do it alone. Let me help you with my tried and trusted techniques, mindset support and habit building practices.
You need to make changes now!
Here's the thing nobody really says out loud: the work you do now sets you up for the next 30, 40 years. Building strength in your 40s and 50s protects your bones, keeps your joints moving, and means you stay capable and independent for a lot longer. My approach isn’t about looking a certain way or fitting into a certain size of clothing. It's about being able to carry your own bags, keep up with people you love, and feel like yourself again. I think that's worth investing in.
